Dishwasher Leak Water Damage in Mission Hills

The homeowner called us when the plumber found a leak behind her dishwasher affecting the cabinets under her kitchen sink. Our Techs showed up within 90 minutes of the initial call and accessed the damaged areas. Using moisture meters, our techs found that the water had run down behind her lower cabinets the length of the wall, affecting the wall and cabinets themselves. Our tech carefully pulled out the dishwasher and lower cabinets, securing the countertop as it was not affected, they also removed the damaged drywall behind the cabinets. Our techs then created a drying chamber to maximize the efficiency of our equipment. Once the kitchen is returned to natural moisture levels, our reconstruction team will work with the customer’s insurance to get her to put it back just as she was before the leak occurred.
